Whipped Cream with Strawberries and Raspberries

Homemade whipped cream has numerous health benefits that make it a worthwhile addition to your diet. Real whipped cream contains no preservatives or additives, making it a luxurious and healthy treat. The best part is that it is quick and easy to make.

Perfection is often found in simplicity!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chilled double or whipping cream

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey or powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Strawberries and raspberries (or any other fruit you prefer)

  • If desired, add peppermint or mint leaves

Directions:

  • Combine the chilled cream, maple syrup (or any other sweetener of your choice), and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Begin blending at low speed and gradually increase to medium-high. If using maple syrup, it is a healthier option than powdered sugar.

  • Continue blending until the cream doubles in volume.

  • To achieve soft peaks, blend until the mixture resembles melted ice cream and retains light swirl marks when you lift the mixer. For medium peaks, blend until the mixture retains more significant, closer-together swirl marks when you lift the mixer and mostly retains those swirl marks when you scoop it onto a spoon. For stiff peaks, blend until the mixture has tight swirl marks and resembles Cool Whip. Avoid overdoing it, or your cream will start turning into butter!

  • Use whipped cream as desired. It will keep well in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 5 days.

  • Add your desired fruits.

  • Enjoy this luxurious and healthy dessert!
